Why should I use MiAlio?

MiAlio is the website where you START and OWN your shopping experience. We help you DISCOVER and SHOP for products based on who you aspire to be. You can also SHARE your discoveries with friends and family for birthday's, anniversaries, holidays or for any reason!

What makes MiAlio different than other retail websites?

Our approach to shopping is about finding products for you based on you. Other websites help you find products in these following ways (Which we do not find helpful):

• Recommending products based on past purchases...helpful?
  --Our thoughts: "RARELY. Just because you bought an item as a present for your girlfriend in the past doesn't mean you want it in another color."
• Tracking your clicks to make recommendations...helpful?
  --Our thoughts: "NO and SPOOKY"
• Showing you random reviews...helpful?
  --Our thoughts: "Thanks 'momma4days37', but no thanks. You probably work for the company selling that product."
• Showing you what your friends like...helpful?
  --Our thoughts: "NOT AT ALL, but it is nice to know that Jason loves buying Justin Bieber tickets, we knew it!..."
• You can always browse the world wide web, but who has time to find all of those products?

What value do I gain from creating a "profile"?

When you create your "profile", you are giving MiAlio the ability to help you find products that are a better fit for you. We do this because we group you with other people with similar aspirations and as a group you vote on products. The ranking of products by a group of like individuals helps you find products that saves you from buyers’ remorse and from having to navigate through all the clutter that other websites waste your time with. We also give you the freedom and control to update your profile whenever you feel like it. This gives you the ability to improve your product search when things change in your life.

What are gaggles?

After you finish your profile, we put you in a "gaggle". Gaggles consist of other users with similar interests to you. They are ever-changing and evolving so we’re always on top of what you really want. This is very private, never published, and is what we use to help you.
